Present Tags

Every year the kids and I make tags for our presents. This year Josh helped me Stamp and emboss each tag. It was really cute. The table is a little red now but it is worth it.

Two Photoshoots in One Day

Today I took photos for a friend and took photos of my kids. I needed new photos for my wall since Josh was under one the last time I took photos. Here are a few of my favorites so far.

December Daily

This year I decided I would try to make a December Daily album. That is really saying a lot since I really do not like daily albums. I thought December might be fun though. There are so many fun things going on during December. The book has twenty five pages and twenty-six dividers with numbers on them. I put the book together early so that I would only have to worry about placing photos during this busy month. Here are a couple of photos of pages I liked and a large shot of ALL the dividers. There were a lot!

And Photography Found Me...

I don't know what God is doing in my life is this area of photography. My cousin asked me to take photos at her wedding. Then students kept asking me to take their Senior photos. Now a friend asked me to take her family photos (my first paid gig) and the photos I took this summer at my cousin's wedding are being published in a magazine. Crazy huh? These are some of my favorites from the last photo shoot.

A Card for a Friend

I love making cards for friends. This card is made from Basic Grey's newest line Out of Print. The embellishments are made by Jillybean Soup and Basic Grey. I was sending a check so I included a inside pocket. :) I thought it turned out really cute.

A Friend's Birthday Gift

I recently made a welcome sign for my home for a Design Team contest. One of my good friends saw it and requested one for her birthday. I have always thought it would be cool to make some other flags and banners to hang from the sign for different seasons. I decided this would be a great time to figure a few out. I made a Welcome sign with My Mind's Eye papers, Believe sign for Christmas using Authentique Christmas papers, and a Breast Cancer Awareness sign using Authentique papers. It turned out great.

Big Boy Bed

We surprised Josh with his new bed. He went over to grandma's in the morning and came home to a new bed. He was more than OK with the fact that his crib was gone. I love these October Afternoon papers as you can see by how much I have used them. The stars are Studio calico and the Stop lights and journaling spots are Basic Grey. I sprayed the stars with Glimmer mist for an extra shine.

Time to Shine

I wanted to scrapbook some of the photos I took at my cousin's wedding. I love these Authentique papers. They were the perfect colors for this wedding.

Dividers

What is a girl to do when she needs dividers for her class and doesn't have any? Why make some of course. I love the look of my new dividers that I made for the class I am teaching at YVCC. They make me smile. :)

I used Plain kraft paper with the Retro punch, Scallop Circle punch, Zig marker, Doodlebug buttons, ribbon, and of course beautiful Authentique paper.

Authentique Thank You Card

I used my wonderful new Authentique paper to make this gatefold card inspired by Kristina Warner. I love the final Mod look the button and brad made. :)

I Made It!

Yeah! I am excited to be a part of the new Authentique Design Team Specialists! Authentique is a new company that is producing some great papers. I can't wait to work for them making new projects.

Playing Possum

Getting my two new scrapbooking magazines in the mail, I was more than inspired to scrapbook. So I with my paint and glitter decided I was going to try something new. I had seen people mix paint and glitter, throw it on a page and it looked beautiful. So, I tryed it...my paint was lumpy and had more of a fluffy effect. That is alright. I was happy with the final page. I used Studio Calico and My Mind's Eye patterned papers. Kaiser Rhinestones, and buttons.







I made this card from all the scraps. :) I am trying to do better at making more from my papers.

Last night I mass produced cards. I needed a card I could pull for last minute birthdays. I made seven in two hours. This Basic Grey line is really cute.

Mid-Week Scrapbooking Fun

Last minute Diana called and said you want to come up to TriCities to Scrapbook tonight? I said "Yeah!" In the three hours I was there I completed two pages. It was lots of fun and I ate lots of Reeses Pieces. :)

Wedding Gift

I am ready to present the pictures I took of my cousin's wedding to her for her wedding gift. I found this frame at Hobby Lobby. I loved the 5x7 frames and the smooth black finish. I decided to put all black and white photos in the frame with the exception of a little color in the middle photo. The couple loved it.

Brandi's Wedding

I took pictures at my cousins wedding a few weeks ago. Out of the thousand photos these stand out as my top ten. :)
