Pages From My Crafty Weekend at CKC

I had so much fun at CKC Portland with Diana. We attended a few classes, ate at Red Robin (a few times), and scrapbooked a ton! I scrapbooked 52 pages and Diana was close to that. These are some of my favorite pages.

Craft Warehouse Assignment #5-Part 4

The last assignment was to use the Hometown Summer line of papers and embellishments to create a 3D layout for a shadow box.

Craft Warehouse Assignment #5-Part 3

Part three of our project was to use a chalkboard sticker on anything in our home. I chose a candle. :) It is very pretty at night when it glows.

Craft Warehouse Assignment #5-Part 2

This line is Pink Paisley's Hometown Summer line. The sheet with the houses on it is named Sunnyside. lol. Wish my house looked like that. I guess we do have atire swing on our big tree in the front. This is a spin off from a layout I saw Diana making. Loved the look so I created my own.

Craft Warehouse Assignment #5-Part 1

I am so excited about the current assignment with craft warehouse. There are four parts to this assignment. Create a mini book, create two one page spreads one being 3D and use a chalkboard sticker on something in your home. Today I spent many many hours creating my mini book.

These lines didn't have any dimensional elements in them so I took a tip from my friend Diana to add height by using multiple layers of paper. Then I did it over and over and over again. I did this on the button embellishments on the front and glued several pages in the book itself together to make a chipboard look.

The finished product was so cute. I am tempted not to give it away!

I had lots of fun at our family crop this Saturday. Completed a few pages.

2.14.2011 Craft Warehouse Assignment #4

This month's assignment was to use the Flora and Fauna K & Co. collection and the Tim Holtz Configurations Box. I thought of my grandparents as soon as I saw this paper line. I loved it and added a wedding photo of my grandparents to the project. I used wood beads as the feet and spray painted the boxes with chalkboard paint.
